ASSOCIATION OF INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGERS IN INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE (DEMO)
The Association of Insurance and Risk Managers in Industry and Commerce or AIRMIC, is an organization dedicated to creating a community for professionals who have a responsibility for risk management. AIRMIC published a white paper article that identifies the value organizations gain by implementing standards and an accredited conformity assessment.
The article goes on to identify that standards provide consumers consistent quality in goods and services. UKAS and the IIOC (Independent International Organization for Certification) contributes to the article by identifying how the wider quality infrastructure, particularly accreditation and the conformity assessment community, plays a supporting role in the management of risk for the insurance sector.
