To all our valued clients,
As the Coronavirus outbreak continues and with concerns of safety and travel restrictions rising around the world, ISA wants to manage upcoming audit activities keeping safety and the well-being of our clients and auditors as our top priority.
Based on ANAB and IAQG guidance, upcoming 2020 audits will be conducted remotely until further notice. The lead auditor assigned to your audit will contact you with further details including completion of two documents authorizing the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
These are unprecedented times and we recognize that our clients are burdened enough with managing the safety and well-being of their employees and operations and they should not have additional concerns about the validity of their certification during these challenging times.
- Establish which video conferencing platform you plan to utilize. It is important to identify a platform you are comfortable using to avoid delays or technical difficulties during the audit.
- Prepare as many procedures, documents, reports, data, and information as possible that are pertinent to the processes and activities to be audited ahead of the start of the audit. Doing this will avoid unnecessary delays and will help to ensure a smooth and efficient auditing process.
- Specific documents requested by the auditor can include: Purchase orders, sales orders where a change was processed, evaluation records for a new supplier, list of employee names for each process, and a copy of the plant layout so that the auditor can get a feel of the production flow.
