ISA may, withdraw, or suspend the registration of an Organization for any of the following reasons:
a) Violating terms and conditions in ISA’s contract and registration policies
b) Ineffective correction and/or corrective action(s) taken, or corrective actions not implemented within a specified period.
c) Existence of a complaint or a number of complaints that is substantiated by ISA audits and indicates the management system of the organization is not being effectively maintained.
d) Failure to meet financial obligations to ISA.
e) Falsification of any nature.
f) The client’s certified management system has persistently or seriously failed to meet certification requirements, including requirements for the effectiveness of the management system
g) The certified client does not allow surveillance or recertification audits to be conducted at the required frequencies
h) The certified client voluntarily requests a suspension
i) Other conditions deemed appropriate by the Certification Committee.
In the event certification is suspended, an appropriate course of action shall be agreed between ISA and the client. Under suspension, the client’s management system certification is temporarily invalid. ISA shall restore the suspended certification if the issue that has resulted in the suspension has been resolved.
